Your key responsibilities will include working with the team to scope, schedule, and manage a variety of tech-heavy development projects through their life cycle - wireframe, design, development, QA, and deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of transformative digital solutions (responsive web design and development and mobile applications)
  • Responsible for project profitability; plan, track and approve project expenses, billing and invoices
  • Communicate expectations to client, team members and manage the process from assessment and definition, creative & technical design, production and development, testing and launch
  • Create and oversee agile cadence for traditional meetings; ensure timely completion through all phases; take lead on quality control issues; write and present project plans/risks in collaboration with other team members

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years in project management, web development, or software engineering
  • Full cycle project management experience of the development of large-scale websites and a strong understanding of web development technologies, third party applications and platforms
  • Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
  • Good understanding of emerging web standards, user-centered design, optimization and search practices. Proven web experience, and interface and architecture knowledge
  • Team building and collaboration skills, ability to coordinate projects across multiple teams

Your key responsibilities will be leading the development team on technical integrity, strategy, architecture, and implementation of web, application, and product development projects through their life cycle. Other duties will include interacting with prospective and existing clients to help define their needs and translate them into a valuable solution.

Responsibilities

User Interface / Visual Designer – NYC

Job Description:

Are you a UI Designer who loves building elegant user experiences? Are your Visual Design skills super crazy sweet? Do you have 3 to 5 years of experience under your belt? Then we want to talk to you. Trunk Digital is seeking a full-time designer to lead the branding and design for our own business. Additionally, you will be an integral part in building out Trunk's design service offerings.

What you would do:

You will be taking the lead in building out our design and UX strategy. First, you will be designing mobile and web experiences for our brand. At the same time, you will help make our marketing collateral look amazing. Second, you will help manage client work as the NYC design lead.

Requirement

  • A solid design portfolio with an emphasis on Visual Design, UI and mobile/web design. Maybe you have a BFA in Graphic Design, maybe you've learned by doing the job. The important thing is that you have an extensive and varied portfolio to show us.
  • Experience working with design, prototype and wireframe tools: Our team works with Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Invision and Keynote most days, but we are always open to suggestions.
  • Strong user experience fundamentals. For you, design is as much about guiding a user to what they need as it is about crafting striking visuals.
  • Willingness to step outside of your comfort zone on a regular basis.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional design experience. We need a self-starter who can take a bit of directional input and then take off!

Extra points if you have…

  • Experience with front-end code (HTML/CSS). Maybe you've even dabbled in the Javascript/JQuery dark arts or fought the good fight against bad code, but willingness--and ability--to learn is more important than high-level skills. You will be helping us build the ship in addition to designing.
  • Built out the front end within a web application framework (Wordpress, Drupal, or hard coded via FTP).
  • Experience with mobile applications and enterprise level development design projects.
  • Animation/interaction design experience would be nice.
